In a groundbreaking move for the industry, drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Kevin Magnussen, both of whom have already scored points in races this season, will be accompanied by Team Principal Ayao Komatsu on May 15th at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Malta, marking their appearance at the Next: Valletta event.

This appearance follows the Swedish gaming giant’s announcement late last year of a multi-year sponsorship deal with the American team, marking the first driver appearance initiated by this sponsorship.

Hülkenberg and Magnussen will grace the stage at Next.io’s Valletta showcase as part of a Play’n GO-sponsored panel, joined by prominent media personality Natalie Pinkham, for a live Q&A session ahead of their race in Imola on May 19th.

After a private event with Play’n GO partners on the evening of May 14th, the drivers will take center stage in Valletta. Here, they will provide a unique glimpse into the daily life of a motorsport athlete, share their aspirations for the remainder of the season, and offer predictions for the upcoming race at the iconic track in Northern Italy.

The close collaboration between Play’n GO and MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, which began with the announcement of their multi-year partnership last November, culminates in this appearance by the team’s drivers and Team Principal, marking the first live showcase of the collaboration in front of an industry audience.

Ebba Arnred, CMO and Co-Founder of Play’n GO, expressed excitement about bringing the world of motor racing to Malta alongside MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. She emphasized pride in having Kevin, Nico, and Ayao join the Play’n GO team at Next: Valletta. Arnred also highlighted the shared vision of sustainability, innovation, and entertainment between Play’n GO and MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, expressing anticipation for the future of their partnership.
